This is my another project for protecting Earth before electrowaste flood.
How did I get it?
I found an occasion to buy this 4K monitor in very nice price, but only because of that, it didn't work. I was suspecting power supply, but when I brought it to home, it turned out that it is working fine. I looked, measured to finally find, that a grup of different power supplies doesn't start properly. I got schematic from the Internet:
Unfortunately, all those supply controller are driven by one of main microcontrolers. I was going to give up, when I thought that maybe someone had already solved the problem. It turned out, that this is common problem for this model and it happens when one suddenly cut off power supply what may mess up the main flash memory. Then the main controller is not able to start. To fix this problem, flash memory IC205 need to be reprogrammed. Soldering skils are neccesary. But program with what? I managed to find a full bin file to this memory in the internet.
